Safety
Please check that the location of your bags was listed correctly in your booking. If this was correct, it may be the case that this location was unsafe or inaccessible to the driver. Please reschedule for next week, changing the location of your bags if possible. Please make sure that;
Secure pets away from the collection
Leave in an accessible area close to curb side for easy access for the driver if possible
Ensure the individual bag or box weight is a reasonable weight - if you can’t lift it, we can’t lift it
Ensure there is a suitable place for the driver to access street and property
Accessibility
When making a booking, you’ll need to specify the location of your bags. You can edit this up to 24 hours before pick-up.
We suggest you choose a spot hidden from public view and with clear and safe access for our drivers.
Our home collection is contact free, we ask you leave your bags in an accessible area for the driver.
For apartments, please check with your body corporate for a suitable spot as our drivers are not able to use elevators or stairs to your apartment for collection.
Please ensure your street and property are accessible by the driver, if they cannot park safely your containers will not be collected
If you don’t put your bags in the locations specified in your booking or a suitable spot for driver access, they may leave your collection behind.
Bags
Please use any sturdy bag which will not break during the transportation to count your collection. Please keep in mind any bag you place your collection in will not be returned to you. Any bags which are unsafe to handle and transport will be left.
There are a few ways you can label your bags. You can write your mobile and member number clearly on a piece of paper and tape it securely to your bag, or just written on a label or masking tape. You can also write them in marker directly on the bag.
Please secure your collections in a bag. If they are left in milk crates or bins and they are not secure, your collection might be left by the operator or these items may not be returned.
Ensure the individual bag weight is at a reasonable weight – if you can’t lift it, we can’t lift it
Ensure all individual bags are labelled with your member number and contact number to identify your collection to be refunded into your nominated payment method
Boxes
Some operators may accept boxes though bags are preferable for transportation reasons
Boxes can get wet/soggy – your collection may become loose during transportation. Empty boxes may be left behind from the driver and rebadged for transportation. Please reuse and recycle your boxes.
