Containers for Change gives charities and community groups the means to raise funds in a convenient and ongoing way. Once you are set up, you can engage your supporters to donate their containers and help you reach your fundraising goals.

WAYS TO FUNDRAISE
There are a few different ways that you can start making the most from collecting containers.
Share your member number
Provide your supporters with your member number and encourage them to use it when returning their containers.
Become a donation location
Your supporters can donate their containers directly by dropping them off at your location.
Partner with your local container refund point
Introduce yourself to your local operator to see what support they can offer to boost your fundraising.
Host a container refund point for your community
Eligible charities, community organisations, social enterprises, and local government can host a Reverse Vending Machine (RVM) and turn recycling into fundraising.
If your application is successful, you can earn a handling fee on every container returned, plus any 10c refund donations from supporters.
This program is currently available in South East Queensland only.
FUNDRAISE FOR YOUR SCHOOL
The Containers for Change School Program offers schools across Queensland the opportunity to fundraise with drink containers while educating the next generation on the importance of recycling.
The program offers free bins, complimentary container collection, social media and marketing tools along with other resources to help educate the students and wider school community on how to use the program.
