What's changed?
Containers for Change just got bigger. As of 1 July 2026, most drink containers between 150ml and 3L are accepted for return. Here's the full list of accepted containers.
Wine & Spirit Bottles
Wine and spirits in plastic and glass bottles.
Juice & Cordial Bottles
All fruit and vegetable juice, and cordial containers.
Drink Cartons
Flavoured milk cartons, juice cartons, juice boxes, and water cartons.
Plastic Bottles
Water, soft drinks, juice, flavoured milk, sports drinks, and wine in plastic containers.
Glass Bottles
Water, beer, pre-mixed spirits, and soft drinks.
Drink Cans
Soft drinks, carbonated beverages, energy drinks, beers, and pre-mixed spirits.
Other
We also accept a range of juice pouches, water casks, and wine in sachets or casks. Remember to bring your separated corks and lids with you to the refund point, as these can be recycled too.
